This website may be considered attorney advertising under some states’ laws and attorney ethics rules.  Dardarian Ho Kan & Lee (“DHKL”) does not intend this site to serve as an advertisement or offer of availability for employment to anyone in a state where this site fails to comply with all laws and ethical rules of that state.  Visiting or reading the content on this site or sending a message to DHKL through the site or otherwise does not make you a client of DHKL, and does not obligate DHKL to represent you or to respond to your communication.

Nothing on this site is intended to provide legal advice.  Any legal decision you make should be based on the advice of a licensed attorney whom you have hired to advise you based upon your individual circumstances.  DHKL does not ensure that all material on or linked to its website is correct and up to date, or make any warranty, express or implied, that the information on this site is accurate and current.

Most legal claims are subject to time limits within which a case must be filed (statutes of limitations).  Visiting or reading the content on this site, sending DHKL a message, or leaving a voicemail for an attorney at DHKL does not obligate DHKL to do anything with respect to such deadlines.  If you have a potential legal claim, you should communicate with an attorney in person or by telephone to understand immediately any time limits that may apply to your claim.

This site discusses cases that the firm has handled in the past in order to provide information about the type of work the firm has done.  Every case is different and depends upon its unique facts and the law as it existed and was applied in that case.  Results in a prior case do not guarantee success or a similar outcome in future cases, and descriptions of cases on the site are not intended to create any expectation of results in any other case.

DHKL represents individuals in employment, civil rights, and consumer rights cases, including class actions and other collective litigations.  DHKL typically represents clients on a contingency basis, meaning that such clients do not owe attorneys’ fees to DHKL unless the case results in the recovery of money or other relief, as detailed in DHKL’s representation agreements.  However, if a case results in a judgment against a client of DHKL, the client may be ordered by the court to pay certain court costs incurred in the case.

DHKL is located at 155 Grand Avenue, Suite 900, Oakland, California, 94612.  Each of the firm’s lawyers is admitted to practice law in California.  One or more attorneys at the firm may be admitted to practice law in other states, as stated on their individual biography pages.  As of March 1, 2025, the only other states in which any attorneys at the firm are licensed to practice are Hawaii and New York.  DHKL also handles cases in other jurisdictions with the local court’s permission (pro hac vice) with the assistance of local counsel as required by such jurisdictions’ laws and ethical rules.  To the extent that any state’s ethics rules require DHKL to identify a single attorney responsible for the content on this website, DHKL identifies Linda M. Dardarian.
