Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho partner Linda M. Dardarian and co-counsel Lainey Feingold negotiated a settlement agreement with Wal-Mart, which requires Wal-Mart to install tactile point of sale devices at 90% of the check out aisles in each of its stores nationwide by no later than June 30, 2009.  Tactile point of sale devices have tactile keys arranged like a standard telephone keypad, and they allow blind and visually impaired customers to independently enter their PINs and other confidential information when purchasing products at Wal-Mart stores.   In negotiating the Wal-Mart settlement agreement, we represented the American Council of the Blind (ACB), the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) and the California Council of the Blind (CCB).
