Miskell v. Auto Club of Southern California, Case No. 01CC 09035 was filed on July 16, 2001, in Orange County Superior Court as a class action seeking payment of overtime compensation for Auto Club claims adjusters.  The day after the case was filed, Auto Club announced it would change its policy and would begin paying overtime to its claims adjusters.  Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho continued to prosecute the case to recover overtime back-pay going back four (4) years, and eventually settled the case for $2.5 million in May 2003.
