On February 23, 2011, American Cancer Society (ACS) and DHKL client American Council of the Blind announced ACS’ agreement to design and generate its website in accordance with well accepted web accessibility standards for persons with visual impairments.  Under the settlement agreement negotiated by DHKL partner Linda M. Dardarian and co-counsel Lainey Feingold, ACS has also agreed to undertake a pilot program for making its print materials available in alternative formats including Braille, Large Print, audio and electronic formats.
