Goldstein, Borgen, Dardarian & Ho partner Linda M. Dardarian and co-counsel Lainey Feingold negotiated a settlement agreement with 7-Eleven, which requires 7-Eleven to install tactile point of sale devices at all of its more than 5,500 stores across the United States by no later than June 30, 2009. To date, 7-Eleven has installed tactile point of sale machines in approximately 4,000 of its stores. Tactile point of sale devices have tactile keys arranged like a standard telephone keypad, and they allow blind and visually impaired customers to independently enter their PINs and other confidential information when making purchases at 7-Eleven stores. In negotiating the 7-Eleven settlement agreement, we represented the American Council of the Blind (ACB), the American Foundation for the Blind (AFB) and the California Council of the Blind (CCB).
